Turkey, Russia, US Georgia’s largest trade partners

The largest trade partners of Georgia during the first nine months of 2023 are still Turkey, Russia and the US. In total, the country's foreign trade turnover amounted to 15,910.8 million US dollars, which is 16.5 percent more than the same period of the previous year, the National Statistics Office of Georgia said on Thursday. 

 

Exports increased by 12.7 percent and amounted to 4607.4 million US dollars, Imports increased by 18.2 percent and hit 11,303.4 million US dollars, the agency said. 

 

"In January-September 2023, the share of the ten largest trade partner countries in the total foreign trade turnover of Georgia amounted to 68.8 percent. The largest trade partners of the country are: Turkey (2195.8 million USD), Russia (1876 million USD) and the USA (1471.8 million US dollars)", Geostat said.
