The UK, in coordination with NATO allies, will provide Ukraine with 30,000 new drones as part of its ongoing support for the country. The announcement was made by UK Defence Minister John Healey during a meeting with Latvian Defence Minister Andris Spruds at the Defence Contact Group gathering at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

The drones will be delivered to Ukraine following the signing of £45 million (approximately $55.3 million) worth of contracts under the leadership of the international “Drone Coalition,” spearheaded by the UK and Latvia.

Funding for the new drones comes from contributions by the UK, Denmark, the Netherlands, Latvia, and Sweden, highlighting the continued commitment of these nations to bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
