Eka Beselia, the leader of the opposition For Justice party, has stated that the founder and honorary Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, Bidzina Ivanishvili does not prioritize anyone, including Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze or others, above his personal interests.

In her comments, Beselia criticized the current governance structure as „unhealthy and overly centralized.”

“This vertical system of governance is unhealthy. It is not based on internal consultations. Bidzina Ivanishvili is not the kind of person who would place anyone above his own interests, Kobakhidze, or anyone else. As soon as he needs to remove Kobakhidze, he will do so quickly. Perhaps everything negative that has happened recently is linked to him, and he may leave it under his responsibility,” Beselia remarked.
