Elections 2021: voter turnout at 33.18% for 3 p.m.

The voter turnout stands at 33.18% in the Georgian municipal elections as of 15:00, the Georgian Central Election Commission reports.  

 

1,160,413 of the 3, 497, 345 eligible voters have participated in the race so far.  

 

Today Georgians are electing 2,068 members of 64 city assemblies and 64 mayors.  

 

3,664 polling stations have been opened across the country. 

 

Nine polling stations are open in prisons and 70 special, so-called Covid polling stations have been set up throughout the country where individuals under coronavirus quiatantive and isolation are able to cast their ballots.
