The leader of the Coalition for Change, Elene Khoshtaria, announced that Georgia’s pro-Western opposition coalition is shifting its strategy to focus on street protests as a primary means of opposition. These protests, she emphasized, will be peaceful but highly principled and assertive.

Khoshtaria mentioned that the coalition is planning a protest on Monday and is meeting with various public groups and activists to gather their ideas and perspectives.

“We are moving to our main strategy, which is street protest—a peaceful but very determined and sharp form of protest. We are preparing for this, and we’ll take responsibility for the process, but broad public participation is essential since this is a common, national struggle to reclaim our country,” Khoshtaria said.
