Elene Khoshtaria, a leader of the Coalition for Change, asserted that it is essential for citizens to take to the streets and reclaim control over their country in light of the ongoing political turmoil. She emphasized that power rightfully belongs to the people, not to anyone else.

Khoshtaria highlighted the urgent need for unity against perceived threats from external forces, particularly referencing Russia’s influence.

She urged her supporters to participate in protests, underscoring that such actions are crucial for the country’s future. Khoshtaria declared that the streets would be a fundamental aspect of their plan to fight for Georgia. The opposition leader pledged that they would remain accountable to the public, ensuring each action taken is focused on achieving results.

Announcing the opposition plans to gather on the streets on November 4, Khoshtaria promised to present mechanisms for opposing the alleged injustices faced by the Georgian people.

“On Monday at 7 pm on Rustaveli Avenue, we want to show the whole world that we know the crime that has been committed, and we will not forgive anyone. There, we will present the mechanisms through which we plan to confront this issue. Our headquarters has formed a group dedicated to this direction, which will invite all active civic groups tomorrow. Together, we will drive the Russians out of this country,” Khoshtaria stated.
