Erdogan extend congratulations to Kavelashvili following Georgian presidential election

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has congratulated Mikheil Kavelashvili on his election as President of Georgia, highlighting the strong neighborly ties and strategic partnership between the two nations.

“On behalf of myself and my people, I sincerely congratulate Your Excellency on your election as President of Georgia, with whom we are connected by close neighborliness and strategic partnership, and I also wish you success in fulfilling this honorable duty,” Erdogan wrote.

Earlier, Kavelashvili also received congratulations from several other heads of state, including Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
