In a recent statement on social media, Estonian President Alar Karis expressed his concerns regarding the situation in Georgia following the parliamentary elections held on October 26.

President Karis revealed that he spoke with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili to discuss the worrying developments in the country. He emphasized Estonia’s unwavering support for the Georgian people’s aspirations to join the European Union, declaring, “No one can take that away from them.”

Karis’s comments come amid reports of electoral irregularities during the recent elections, which have raised questions about the integrity of the democratic process in Georgia.
