On International Child Protection Day, the European Union reaffirmed its steadfast support for children's rights across Georgia, emphasizing the importance of ensuring safety, dignity, and opportunities for every child.
In a statement shared on social media, the EU Delegation in Georgia highlighted the enduring partnerships that have helped strengthen the country’s national child protection systems. These collaborations have contributed to improving access to quality education and healthcare, training dedicated social workers and professionals, and supporting children in vulnerable situations, including those displaced by conflict.
“Even in challenging times, investing in children means investing in Georgia’s future — one that is safer, more inclusive, and full of opportunity for all,” the EU said.
