The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, has announced a forthcoming working visit to Ukraine in February of this year during a press conference held in Brussels.
“I will be arriving in Ukraine in the first or second week of February,” he stated, although specific details regarding the individuals or groups he plans to meet during his visit were not disclosed.
Borrell emphasized the commitment of the European Union to support Ukraine, stating, “Ministers agreed that now is not the time to reduce our aid to Ukraine. On the contrary, we must do more and more quickly… with regards to financial resources, military equipment, military training, and all defense needs of Ukraine. We will continue to work on the planned aid.”
