EU’s Borrell was on hike with bloc’s Ambassador while in Georgia

Josep Borrell, the European Union High Representative, who visited Georgia last week, was on a hike in the country’s north-eastern Kazbegi region with the bloc’s Ambassador to Georgia Pawel Herczynski, Radio Liberty posted related photos on Monday. 

 

Borrell visited a hotel located at an altitude of 3,014 meters above sea level, the media said. 

 

While in Georgia, the EU official met with the country’s Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, President, the members of the opposition and the NGOs. 

 

He also viewed the occupation line in central Georgia and met with the representatives of the EU Monitoring Mission in the country.
