The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has begun the process of reviewing the Russian Sputnik-V vaccine.

It is reported by DW.

EALS experts must evaluate the effectiveness of the Russian vaccine. According to research, the Sputnik-V vaccine stimulates the formation of antibodies against the virus and may help protect against COVID-19.

Reportedly, despite the beginning of this procedure, the Russian manufacturer has not yet submitted an official application to the EALS with a request for permission to use Sputnik-V in the EU.
