Europe faces third wave of COVID-19

EU countries are facing the third wave of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

“We are at the beginning of the third wave,” she said at a press conference in Brussels.

The head of the European Commission stressed the importance of continuing the campaign to vaccinate the population in such a situation.
