The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, who was on a working visit to Kyiv at the beginning of this year, once again arrived in the capital of Ukraine earlier on Friday, where he will participate in the EU-Ukraine summit.

“I returned to Kyiv to participate in the EU-Ukraine summit together with the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell”, he said.

“There will be no let up in our resolve. We will also support you every step of the way on your journey to the EU”, Michel wrote.

Along with the EU officials, 15 European Commissioners also arrived in Kyiv on Thursday.

“EU assistance has reached €50 billion since the start of Russia’s war. Europe stood united with Ukraine from day one. And will still stand with you to win and rebuild”, Borrell tweeted.
