European Parliament to debate “dispersal of peaceful pro-European demonstrators” in Georgia

The European Parliament is set to hold a debate today on the recent dispersal of peaceful pro-European demonstrators in Georgia, according to information published on its website.

The debate is scheduled to begin at 10:50 local time and will include a statement from Dubravka Šuica, Vice-President of the European Commission for Democracy and Demography, speaking on behalf of the European Commission.

Representatives from the European Parliament’s various political groups are also expected to address the plenary session.
