Members of the European Parliament visiting Georgia joined protesters on Rustaveli Avenue, where demonstrations have been ongoing for over two weeks.

The crowd greeted the MEPs with cheers and chants of “Sanctions.”

The delegation included prominent MEPs such as Reinier van Lanschot, Michał Szczerba, Tobias Kremer, Rasa Juknevičienė, and Sergey Lagodinsky.

Earlier, the MEPs held meetings with President Salome Zourabichvili, representatives of NGOs, and opposition parties to discuss the political situation in the country.
