A delegation of European Parliament members is visiting Georgia to express solidarity with the country’s citizens fighting for a European future. The delegation will hold meetings with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, opposition parties, civil society representatives, and journalists. Rasa Juknevičienė (Lithuania, EPP) released the information on X.

“On my way to Tbilisi with colleagues to show solidarity with Georgians fighting for a European future!” Juknevičienė posted on social media.

According to reports, the delegation includes:

* Michał Szczerba (Poland, EPP)
* Nathalie Loiseau (France, Renew Europe)
* Bernard Guetta (France, Renew Europe)
* Tobias Kremer (Germany, Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats – S&D)
* Rienier van Lanschot (Netherlands, Greens/European Free Alliance).
