Ex-PM of Sweden Bildt on Georgian PM: this guy beyond repair, off the rails

Former Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt has responded to the allegations by Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili over “being a lobbyist of the previous  United National Movement government, and Bildt’s wife’s company taking millions from Georgia.”

 

“This guy – I’m talking about the PM of Georgia – is beyond repair. Accusing in a speech to parliament my wife of stealing millions from Georgia shows that he’s gone off the rails. He’s a tragedy for what is a very fine country,” Bildt tweeted shortly after Garibashvili’s speech in Parliament on Wednesday.

 

Garibashvili named  Bildt among the lobbyists paid from the budget by the previous government of Georgia, noting that under the United National Movement authorities a company owned by Bildt’s wife “took millions of dollars from Georgia.”
