Fourth President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili has stated what is happening in Ukraine is a ‘decency test’ for Georgia.

He says in his recent tweet that at least Georgia must express a verbal support for Ukraine and call Putin an aggressor, then the country must apply sanctions and ‘even better’ send arms to Ukraine.

“With a clear mindset that betraying principles and shying away from evil only multiplies it,” he says.

Both Georgian and Ukrainian territories are currently occupied by Russia.

Thousands of Russian troops are now present at the Ukrainian border, making threats of repeated violence.

The international community is involved to prevent a war.
