An explosion rocked a residential complex in Moscow, reportedly aimed at Armen Sarkisian, the head of the Boxing Federation of the self-declared Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

Sarkisian, also known by the alias Armen Gorlovsky, has come under scrutiny from Ukrainian authorities for his alleged involvement with illegal armed formations and support for the Russian aggressor state.

Ukrainian officials claim Sarkisian played a central role in establishing the so-called Armenian battalion in the Donetsk region, which fought alongside Russian-backed forces. Additionally, Ukrainian media reports indicate that he is a close associate of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, who fled to Russia after being ousted. Sarkisian is also accused of being one of the key figures behind violent assaults on Euromaidan protesters in 2014, allegedly orchestrated by the pro-government Titushki militia.
