Fifth body recovered in Western Georgia landslide

The fifth victim’s body has been recovered in the village of Nergeti, within the Baghdati municipality of western Georgia, where a landslide struck on Tuesday. 

The victim has been identified as a young man.

Efforts are currently ongoing to locate the remaining four missing individuals through search and rescue operations.

Rescuers were able to save one person, who had been transported to a nearby clinic for medical attention.
