A massive fire is now raging in Russia’s Altai region, in the tire manufacturing plant, with a special train being brought in to extinguish it.

The fire reportedly expanded to 1,000 square meters and more than hundred people and special equipment had been  involved in the extinction process.

It is known that initially the fire broke out in one of the workshops of the tire plant. By this time the fire had already spread throughout the four-story building.

The plant  produces tires under the well-known Nortec brand.

On Friday another large-scale fire broke out in the suburbs of Moscow, in a shopping complex covering 7,000 square meters.
