The one-and-a-half-kilometer-long canyon of Uchkho in Georgia’s western Adjara region will host first visitors this year.

It is the first canyon in coastal Adjara which has been developed thanks to the ENPARD grant project.

The site will be particularly attractive for extreme and adrenaline lovers.

Climbers will be able to climb down from a 12 cascading waterfall with ropes.

Uchkho gorge is located at 1,000 meters above sea level in Khulo municipality.

It takes about 2-2.5 hours to drive to the site from Batumi.
