FM Darchiashvili to pay first official visit to Armenia today

The Georgian newly appointed Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili will pay his first official visit to neighboring Armenia today, meeting with top officials in Yerevan and discussing cooperation during the two-day visit. 

 

Darchiashvili is scheduled to meet with President Vahagn Khachaturian, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Speaker of the Parliament Alen Simonian, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan.

 

Darchiashvili, the former Head of the Government Administration, was appointed foreign minister on April 4.
