For Georgia’s Kemoklidze: GD officials, Ivanishvili “creators of historic fiasko”

A member of ex–PM Giorgi Gakharia’s For Georgia party, former official Kakhaber Kemoklidze has accused the founder of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party Bidzina Ivanishvili, the GD head Irakli Kobakhidze,  PM Irakli Garibashvili and the chair of the ruling party faction in parliament Mamuka Mdinaradze of “historic fiasco” as the European Commission recommended on Friday Ukraine and Moldova be granted a candidate status, while Georgia only an European perspective. 

“Get to know the creators of the historical fiasco for Georgia. Here are those who have sacrifzied the country’s future to maintaining their own power, foolishness, ignorance, incompetence, deception, conspiracy and party agenda! History will remember everyone and everything well,” Kemoklidze posted on social media on Friday. 

He stated that Ukraine and Moldova have paved a way towards  prosperity, while Georgia, “because of these  people is losing prospects to be a rich and developed country in the short run.” 

The European Commision said today that Georgia will receive the candidate status if it meets certain criteria.
