Former deputy head of Georgia’s National Agency of Environment Ramaz Gerliani has been missing since yesterday.

He served in the role between 2017 and 2019 under the Georgian Dream leadership.

His relative said that Gerliani’s car was found open near Avchala police station, in the outskirts of Tbilisi.

Prior to going missing, Gerliani posted on Facebook and accused police of exercising pressure on him.

Police are looking into the case.
