France will send air defense systems, radars, missile systems and weapons to Ukraine in the coming weeks, French President Emmanuel Macron said in his recent interview with France 2 TV.

He said that this decision followed the “unprecedented phase of bombing” of Ukrainian cities and infrastructure by Russia.

“This is a new phase of bombardment from land, sea, air and drones against basic infrastructure and civilians,” Macron said, adding that Ukraine would receive radar and missile systems in the coming weeks to protect the country from drone and missile attacks.

Macron also emphasized that Russia is waging a hybrid war.

“We are in a hybrid war. We use not only weapons on the ground, but also weapons of information,” he said, adding that Russia uses a variety of approaches to conflict, including propaganda channels, weaponization of migration, blackmail and starvation.
