The suspect - born in 1982 - was arrested following a personal search, during which law enforcement officers seized 75 stickers containing the narcotic substance buprenorphine as evidence

Officers from the Central Criminal Police Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained a man on charges of illegal acquisition and possession of a particularly large quantity of narcotic substances.

According to the Ministry, the suspect - born in 1982 - was arrested following a personal search, during which law enforcement officers seized 75 stickers containing the narcotic substance buprenorphine as evidence.

An investigation has been launched under Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which предусматривает punishment of up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
