GD says UNM opposition activist stabbed Labour party supporter in Marneuli

The ruling Georgian Dream party has dismissed allegations that a member of the Labour opposition party was stabbed by the ruling Georgian Dream activist in eastern Marneuli region. 

 

GD MP Zaur Dargali says that the Labour party and UNM opposition activists attacked in front of the 52nd polling station in Marneuli and later the latter stabbed the Labour party activist. 

 

Earlier, a Labour Party activist Ali Badirov said that the fellow activist of the party Eivaz Mamedov was stabbed by the GD activist Gurkhan Ramazanov. 

 

Marneuli is inhabited mainly by ethnic Azerbaijanians.. 

 

Georgians are voting in municipal elections today.
