Georgian Interior Minister visits China for Global Security Forum

Georgian Interior Minister Geka Geladze has visited the People’s Republic of China on an official trip, invited by his Chinese counterpart, the Minister of Public Security, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) announced on Wednesday.
Geladze is attending the Global Forum on Public Security in Lianyungang, which brings together leaders from more than 120 countries to discuss global security challenges.
The forum gathers top officials from law enforcement agencies worldwide, alongside representatives from the United Nations, Interpol, and other international organisations.
During his visit, Minister Geladze is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with the Chinese Minister of Public Security.
Accompanying him is a high-level Georgian delegation, including his deputies Aleksandre Darakhvelidze and Shalva Tadumadze, as well as other senior officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
