Georgian Interior Minister Geka Geladze is on an official visit to the State of Israel, accompanied by a delegation, the ministry’s press service has announced.

According to the statement, the Georgian delegation is hosted by Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir.

During the visit, Minister Geladze is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his Israeli counterpart. The two sides are expected to sign a memorandum of cooperation between their respective agencies in the field of law enforcement.

As part of the visit, the Georgian delegation will also tour several Israeli police units to observe their operational practices and gain insights into their work.
