Georgia’s Interior Minister Geka Geladze is on an official visit to Kazakhstan at the invitation of his Kazakh counterpart Yerzhan Sadenov.

The visit includes a meeting with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Ak Orda presidential residence in Astana.

Bilateral talks are also scheduled between Geladze and Kazakhstan’s Interior Minister Yerzhan Sadenov. The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening cooperation between the two countries’ law enforcement agencies.

As part of the programme, the Georgian delegation will visit several units of Kazakhstan’s Interior Ministry to observe their operations and exchange professional experience.
