Minister Geladze highlighted the important role of police attachés in deepening bilateral ties

Georgia’s Interior Minister Geka Geladze met with Walid Abu Haya, the newly appointed Ambassador of Israel to Georgia, to discuss ongoing cooperation between the two countries in law enforcement.

The Ministry press office said on Thursday Geladze congratulated Ambassador Abu Haya on the start of his diplomatic mission in Georgia and wished him success in his work.

During the meeting, the two officials reviewed the close partnership between Georgia and Israel in the security and law enforcement sectors and explored prospects for further strengthening cooperation.

Minister Geladze highlighted the important role of police attachés in deepening bilateral ties, noting that police collaboration between the two countries had become increasingly active in recent months.

Ambassador Abu Haya, for his part, thanked the minister for the meeting and expressed readiness to contribute to advancing the partnership between Georgia and Israel.
