Head of the State Security Service of Georgia, Geka Geladze, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia, Ashot Smbatyan.

According to the State Security Service, the parties discussed issues related to the strategic partnership between Georgia and Armenia. The meeting also focused on ongoing regional developments and current security challenges.

Geladze underscored the importance of the strong cooperation between the security agencies of Georgia and Armenia and expressed readiness to further deepen bilateral partnership in the field of security.

For his part, Ambassador Smbatyan congratulated Geladze on his appointment as Head of the State Security Service and wished him success in his new role.
