Georgia’s Interior Minister Geka Geladze has concluded a visit to Hungary, where he held meetings with several key units of the country’s Interior Ministry, his office said on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry’s press service, the Georgian delegation toured the Special Task Unit of the Hungarian National Police - a division that assists local police during major security operations. Geladze also visited Hungary’s Police Training Academy, where he was briefed on the institution’s programmes and approaches to professional police education.

Officials said both sides expressed readiness to deepen practical cooperation, particularly through sharing law-enforcement experience and best practices.

At the end of the visit, Geladze thanked the Hungarian side for what was described as their warm hospitality and voiced confidence that bilateral partnership in security and policing would continue to expand across multiple fields.
