Georgia’s Interior Minister, Geka Geladze, has held a working meeting in the Adjara region with his first deputy, Roland Meskhi, and senior officials from the Adjara and Guria police departments in the country’s west, as well as the Patrol Police Department’s Adjara division.

The Ministry press office on Tuesday said Geladze was briefed on measures taken in Adjara and Guria to combat crime and ensure a safe environment for tourists.

The minister highlighted the ministry’s priority areas during the meeting and thanked police staff for their effective work.
