Georgia’s Interior Minister, Geka Geladze, accompanied by First Deputy Minister Roni Meskhi, has visited several divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the western regions of Samegrelo and Imereti, according to the ministry’s press service.

During the visits, the minister met on-duty personnel and personally congratulated them on the New Year. He thanked officers for their effective service and highlighted the importance of the daily work carried out by Interior Ministry staff in maintaining public safety and order.

Geladze also said the ministry would continue efforts to improve both the social welfare and working conditions of its employees.
