Georgia is among the 38 foreign countries which have applied to the International Criminal Court to investigate alleged crimes committed by Russia on the territory of Ukraine.

 

The International Criminal Court prosecutor announced on March 2 about the launch of an investigation into alleged war crimes in Ukraine.

 

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has said that 38 countries have applied to the International Criminal Court to investigate the crimes.

 

Russia invaded Ukraine last week. 

 

Russian troops are bombing Ukrainian cities, killing both soldiers and civilians. 

 

Ukraine says that about 9,000 Russian troops have also been killed in the country.
