Georgia co-sponsors UN resolution in support of Ukraine

Georgia is among the 96 foreign states which have co-sponsored the UN resolution ‘on Aggression against Ukraine.’ 

 

The resolution was adopted at the 11th UNGA Emergency Special Session with 141 in favor and only five against, said the Georgian Foreign Ministry. 

 

The ministry said that ‘Georgia stands with Ukraine.’ 

 

Hostilities are still in progress in Ukraine as Russia invaded the country last week.
