Georgia hits 5,739 new cases of Covid, 2,082 recoveries, 36 deaths

Georgia has reported 5,739 new cases of coronavirus, 2,082 recoveries and 36 deaths in the past 24 hours.56, 555 tests were conducted in the reported period, including 42, 546 antigen tests and 14, 009 PCR tests.

 

The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the pandemic in Georgia in February 2020 stands at 670, 552 

 

As for the positive rate, as of October 18, the daily positive rate is 10.15%, for the last 14 days-8.64%, for the last 7 days- 9.12%.

 

The total number of recoveries since March 2020 stands at 616, 917

 

9, 546 individuals died from the virus since March 2020.
