Georgia PM leaves for Saudi Arabia on an official visit

Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili on Wednesday left for Saudi Arabia on an official visit, the government press office said, and noted the head of the government would hold bilateral, high-level meetings. 

Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said the purpose of the visit was “on one hand, to further deepen and strengthen cooperation, political dialogue, and on the other hand, to enhance economic relations and bring more investments to our country”. 

He stressed the visit would be “distinguished|” with “tangible outcomes”.
