Georgia reports 1,120 new cases of Covid of 16,149 tests

Georgia has reported 1,120 new cases of coronavirus out of 16,149 tests which have been conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 

 

4,905 individuals have recovered, while 61 have died from the virus in the reported period. 

 

Georgia has had 565,957 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

 

519,673 of the 565,957 patients have recovered, while 7,867 have died from the virus so far. 

 

Most of the new cases were reported in Tbilisi – 415 , Adjara – 147, Imereti – 175 cases and Kvemo Kartli regions – 48.

 

Currently 38,391 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.

 

More than 7,000 individuals are undergoing treatment in hospitals, while most of the Covid-19 patients, 29,083, are at home

 

1,326,033 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine since March 2021, of which  480,613 individuals have been fully vaccinated.
