Georgia reports 1,653 new cases of Covid of 28,553 tests

Georgia has reported 1,653 new cases of coronavirus of 28,553 tests, 2,646 recoveries and 47 deaths in the last 24 hours. 

 

22,885 people remain infected with Covid-19 in the country as of today.

 

570, 443 of the 602,065 patients have recovered from coronavirus in Georgia since February 2020, while 8,711 have died from the virus.

 

Most of the new cases were recorded in Tbilisi – 559, Adjara- 100 and Imereti regions – 227. 

 

1,700,895 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, out of which 740,814 people have been fully vaccinated.

 

More than 5,000 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals currently, while more than 17,000 are at home.
