Georgia reports 1,743 new cases of Covid of 36,047 tests

Georgia has reported 1,743 new cases of coronavirus of 36,047 tests, 2,266 recoveries and 29 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

 

18,969 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

 

The country has had 613,012 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020 of which 585,071 individuals have  recovered, while 8,946 have died from the virus.

 

Most of the new cases were recorded in Tbilisi – 571 cases, Adjara – 85, Imereti – 315 and Kvemo Kartli regions- 94.

 

1,774,769 individuals have received  at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which  796,129 have been completely vaccinated.

 

More than 4,000 individuals are in hospitals currently, while more than 14,000 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment at home.
