Georgia reports 1,954 new cases, 4,477 recoveries, 47 Covid deaths

Georgia has reported 1,954 new cases of coronavirus of 20,068 tests, 4,477 recoveries and 47 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

44,606 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of now.

The country has confirmed 840,593 cases of coronavirus since February 2020, of which 783,987 have recovered and 11,974 have died from the virus.

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi – 1,015 cases 

Adjara – 105 cases 

Imereti – 313 cases

Kvemo Kartli – 97 cases 

Shida Kartli – 85 cases 

Guria – 43 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 106 cases 

Kakheti – 84 cases

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 46 cases

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 49 cases

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 11 cases

6,566 patients are currently undergoing treatment in hospitals, 36,880 individuals remain at home due to a mild form of the virus and 41,660 others are in self isolation.
