Georgia reports 148 new cases of Covid out of 24,593 tests

Georgia has reported 148 new cases of coronavirus out of the 24,593 tests over the past 24 hours.

 

280 people recovered from the virus in the reported period, while two new deaths were confirmed. 

 

A total of 16,807 people have died from the virus in the country since April 2020.

 

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follow: 

 

Tbilisi – 72 cases, 

 

Adjara – 5, 

 

Imereti – 27,

 

Kvemo Kartli – 8,

 

Shida Kartli – 4, 

 

Guria – 8, 

 

Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 7, 

 

Kakheti – 11, 

 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti-3, 

 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 3,

 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 0. 

 

Active cases stand at 1,312, of which 296 people are placed in hospitals.
