Georgia reports 2,455 new cases of Covid, 4,427 recoveries, 58 deaths

Georgia has reported 2,455 new cases of coronavirus of 36,151 tests, 4,427 recoveries and 58 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

 

Most of the new cases were recorded in Tbilisi – 890 cases, Imereti – 342 and Adjara regions – 249.

 

33,123 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

 

1,500 patients are in critical condition of which 365 are on artificial ventilation.

 

More than 6,000 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals, while the majority of Covid-19 patients are at home.

 

1,405,877 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which  536,394 individuals have been completely vaccinated.

 

Georgia has had  572,948 cases of coronavirus since February 2020.  531,764 of the 572,948 individuals have  recovered, while 8,035 have died from the virus.
