Georgia reports 2,470 new cases of Covid

Georgia has reported 2,470 new cases of coronavirus, 2,243 recoveries and 46 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

 

34,250 tests have been conducted around the country in the reported period. 

 

Active cases stand at 23,976. 

 

The country has had 598,396 coronavirus cases since the end of February 2020 of which 565,773 individuals have recovered and 8,621 have died from the virus. 

 

Most of the new cases were reported in Tbilisi – 705, Adjara – 149 and Imereti regions – 492. 

 

1,671,295 individuals have received their one dose of the vaccine since March 2021 of which 719,076 have been fully vaccinated.
