Georgia reports 2,661 new cases of Covid, 1,274 recoveries, 30 deaths

Georgia reports 2,661 new cases of Coronavirus in the past 24 hours, while 1,274 individuals have recovered.30 individuals died from the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 9,192 people have died from the virus since April 2020.

 

36,840 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, including 22,119 antigen tests and 14,721 PCR tests.

 

The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid pandemic in Georgia in February 2020 stands at 628,719.

 

As for positive rate, as of October 7, the daily positive rate is 7.22%, for the last 14 days –  5.70%, while for the last 7 days – 6.16%.

 

21, 847 individuals remain infected with Covid in Georgia as of today.

 

At this stage 17, 097 people are self-isolating.
