Georgia reports 232 new cases of Covid, no deaths

Georgia has reported 232 new cases of coronavirus out of the 20,385 tests and no deaths over the past 24 hours.

 

The positivity rate as of April 19 is 1.14%, for the last 14 days – 1.32%, and for the past seven days – 1.20%.

 

117 people have recovered from the virus in the reported period, bringing the total number of people recovered since early 2020 to 1,634,591.

 

A total of 16,794 people have died from the virus in the country since April 2020. 

 

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows:

 

Tbilisi – 120 cases, 

Adjara – 13, 

Imereti – 39, 

Kvemo Kartli – 7, 

Shida Kartli – 14, 

Guria – 10, 

Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 11, 

Kakheti – 9, 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 4, 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 5, 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 0.

Active cases stand at 2,281. 

 

Only 337 Covid patients are placed in hospitals as of today.
